Dear TCSAAL Cheer Teams,
We have received numerous emails from a couple of our schools about the weather forecast for this Saturday.
All teams were notified back on December 19, 2024, that the competition would be outside but that we would continue to monitor the weather.
As of this email being sent out the weather forecast for this Saturday is that at 10:00 am it will be 53 degrees and it will continue to rise to 63 degrees by mid-day.
TCSAAL has the following outdoor event standards as outlined in our Handbook,
Cold Weather
• It is the policy of TCSAAL to not initiate or continue outdoor events when the weather is 33 degrees
or a wind chill of 28 or below and it is wet (with precipitation).
• It is the policy of TCSAAL to not initiate or continue outdoor events when the weather is 30 degrees
or a wind chill of 25 or below and it is dry (no precipitation).
o We will utilize weather.com.
As of now the current weather models will be nowhere near our cancelation policy.
I just met with our head Cheer Judge to also get their opinion, and they have advised to move forward with the competition.
So, at this time we will be moving forward with the competition as scheduled.

Cheer Fans and Teams will enter through main entrance (Gate 2).
Please note that everyone will park near main entrance. and enter through Gate 2 Main Entrance.
FINE DESIGN CUSTOM T-SHIRTS ON SITE
TCSAAL is happy to announce a new partnership with Fine Designs for all Official TCSAAL State Championship Merchandise! We know how hard you work to get to each TCSAAL Championship and how much it would mean to be able to select from a wide variety of apparel items and placement of each custom decal of choice. This is the experience Fine Designs will offer onsite! Customization will include various sizes of the official TCSAAL Championship logo, player numbers, team and individual rosters, a selection of sport specific slogans and much more.

Cheer Competition Information
TCSAAL Cheer Competition 2024-2025

Spectators Door Fee: $5
Concessions will be available for purchase on-site. NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK WILL BE ALLOWED.
We will offer competition in 2 age categories, 6-8 Grade (Junior High) and High School (Varsity) and in, multiple Competition levels. The novice and intermediate levels in the Performance Category of NCA Cheer for 6-8 Grade and we will offer the novice, intermediate and advanced levels for High School.
Team entries are $500 a team.
The School Team Cheer Competition will be 1 state tournament.
We will follow the National Cheerleaders Association rules for the Performance category. Please note we will follow Performance and not Game Day or Crowd Performance competition rules.
We are offering all competitions in small group (5-16 members) and large group (17-30 members).
Teams can be 5-30 people. We will not have a cap for number of males.

During Open warm up at 9:00 am all high school teams should plan to test their audio setup.
MS Teams should do audio tests after HS awards.
FANS / SPECTATORS
Fans and spectators are allowed to attend. There is a $5 door fee.
